I'm at work right now and one of our hamsters is bleeding. There is blood in the woodchips, which is how we noticed. We think it is a female. We have no idea what's happening?!?!

Very recently I noticed that my hamsters nose had red around it on some days. Last night I realized that it was blood. It's not gushing blood like a really bad nose bleed, but it is small blood around her nostrils. Well, I found just a little bit of blood splattered on the side of the hamster's tank, so I think it could be either of two reasons. They are fighting. Or, since it was around the water bottle, Nibbles is always climbing up the bottle, trying to get out of the tank (which she is actually doing now), and she always seems to fall, so maybe she is ( Read more... )

I just went to check on my 5-week-old teddy bear hamster Boo and he was bleeding a little bit from his itsy bitsy hamster weewee!! His pee corner was soaked with a mixture of urine and blood. What's going on?! What should I do?!
